After a liposculpture the sagging skin of the thighs is lifted and anchored to the pelvis. The scar is in the groin, and if required there is a vertical scar on the inner aspect of the thigh. Rarely, the operation is carried out on the outer side of the limb. In that case the scar runs over the crest of the pelvis and it ends at the sacrum.
