repeated breast reduction

This lady had a first breast reduction, in which the scar was limited to the circumference of the areola only. After two pregnancies, the breast had become enlarged and ptotic again, and there was important stretching of both the areola and the scar. A second breast reduction was performed with a scar around the areola as well as a vertical scar between the areola and the fold under the breast.

Compare the images: the left column shows the situation before the first operation. The middle column shows the recurrent problem before the second operation. On the right you see the result, three months after the second operation.

Removed weight: 800 g. on ech side (first operation) and 310 g. on each side (second operation).

Age category: 30 - 34 years.
