breast reduction with L - shaped scar

The L - scar technique was used in this patient, producing a scar around the areola, a vertical scar from the areola to the fold under the breast and a horizontal scar in the fold itself.

Compare the images: the left column shows the situation before the operation. On the right you see the result after three months. The pink colour of the scars and the irregularity of the areolar contour will still improve because of scar maturation.
