Tuberous Breasts

Tuberous breasts have a narrow base and a pointed shape. The lower part of the breast is underdeveloped, which may lead to early drooping. Augmentation is more difficult in case the breasts are tuberous. The tissue of the lower part of the breast in particular is difficult to stretch over an implant.
Milder variants of tuberous breasts may benefit from liposculpture, associated with a stretching treatment of the skin around the imframammary fold, to compensate the underdevelopment of this area. I may be useful to insert a breast implant, sometimes in combination with lipofilling. In severe cases it may be necessary to remove a strip of skin around the areola.
