Nose correction by injection with fillers

This young lady presented with a deviation of the cartilaginous part of the nasal skeleton. This caused a visible ridge on the right side of the nose and an impression on the nasal dorsum, without important consequences for breathing.
An injection of 1,1 ml. of filler was performed in between the muscle layer and the skeleton of the nose in two sessions with an interval of one week. This treatment was performed in the office. The result after seven months is displayed in the middle column. More injections were performed to a total of 0,6 ml., again in two sessions. The result can be seen in the right column.
Fillers can cause some temporary swelling. Therefore it is useful to perform the treatment in several, small steps.

Age category: 18 - 19 years.
