facial spider veins: NdYag laser

This girl had a spider naevus on her right cheek. In the middle of the lesion, the dilated inflow vessel is visible as a slightly darker spot. It is surrounded by the dilated network of capillaries.
One treatment of a few NdYag laser pulses sufficed to clear the lesion.

Age category: 10 - 12 years.
