breast reduction with horizontal scar
This patient had a breast reduction without vertical scar, resulting in a scar around the areola and a horizontal scar in the fold under the breast. This technique is most suitable for elaborate reductions.

A few blisters appeared on the outer, lower quadrant of the right breast, a few days after the operation. They healed over a week, but pink discoloration of this area remained visible for several months. Eventually, the pink colour disappears, but pigmentation changes may persist.
