Nose injection

By injection of a filler, a little hump on the nasal dorsum can be hidden, the dorsum can be raised somewhat, and a light volume enhancement of the tip can be obtained.

This procedure can be performed in the office and can save some people with minor nasal imperfections an operative rhinoplasty.

The effect slowly disappears over the course of six months to four years. Generally, a small extra amount is injected earlier thant the lifetime of the treatment in time to maintain its effect.

These injections may also be performed as an enhancement of an operative rhinoplasty.

The "smiling nose" phenomenon, downward displacement of the nasal tip on smiling, can be treated simply by a small injection of a muscle weakening product in the small muscle, that pulls the tip downwards, at the lower end of the nasal septum. The result is also temporary.
